John Piet - Pastor / Elder
Our pastor and his wife have been married since 1989 and have 6 sons; 4 biologically and 2 miraculously placed by God through adoption from the Philippines. They also have 2 daughters-in-law and 5 grandchildren. John and Kim served the Lord as missionaries in the Philippines from 2004 to 2013. While in the Philippines, our Lord used them to start an orphanage and a church in Baguio City. They left the Philippines in March of 2013 and returned to Lighthouse to serve as the associate pastor from June 2013 until August 2014. In August of 2014, Pete Ruble, Lighthouse’s founding pastor, felt led to resign; God then moved upon the hearts of the Lighthouse members to call John to be their pastor.
John loves the Lord with all of his heart and is humbled to be used of his great Master and King in this capacity. He seeks to lovingly lead this body of believers to a closer walk with the Savior and encourages the body to shine God’s light and to shake God’s salt on this dark and flavorless world.

Roy Waymire - Deacon
Roy and his wife, Rita, have been a faithful part of the Lighthouse family for many years. Rita first began attending in the 1990s, and together they have been serving faithfully since 2000. Their dedication and love for the Lord are evident in the way they care for the church and its people. Roy’s service as a deacon is marked by humility and a genuine heart for God’s work, and Rita’s faithfulness has been a steady encouragement to all who know her. It is truly a joy to have them as part of our church body, where their example of steadfast faith continues to shine brightly for everyone at Lighthouse.
Brock Piet - Worship Leader
Brock has been a part of Lighthouse Church for nearly his entire life and has served faithfully as a member since 2019. He has a deep love for worship and a heart to serve the Lord. Brock spent over nine years in the Philippines as a missionary kid, where he first picked up the acoustic guitar and developed his passion for music. He has now been playing for more than 15 years. During his time in the Philippines, he also met his wife, Emma, and together they began a journey of faith and family. In 2013, Brock returned to the United States, and today he and his wife are raising their four beautiful children while continuing to serve the Lord through music and ministry.
